Travel to Delft
Delft is a historic city, with a well-preserved centre, a large Technical University adjacent to it and the Deltares Delft campus next to the TU.
The meetings will take place at Deltares, with an welcoming 'ice breaker' on Sunday evening (21 June) in the city centre. Technical excursions are currently planned to the GeoLab, the Delta Flume and the Hydro Hall of Deltares, and to the new indoor Wave Overtopping Simulator and the outdoor levee test facility 'Flood Proof Holland' of the TU Delft.
Delft, between Rotterdam and The Hague, is easily accessible with 4-6 train connections per hour to Amsterdam airport (Schiphol) during daytime.
